EQUIPMENT INSTALLED

The deliverables for Subproject 1: “ELECTRONIC SYSTEM INSTALLATION LOCATION AND CONTROL OF LEAKAGES IN THE INTERNAL NETWORKS OF DEYAVA – PHASE A” are the following:

  1. Supply, installation and commissioning of a system of Local Consumption Control Stations (LCS) consisting of:
    – Five hundred (500) TSEK meters, up to DN20/ / >=R400 (MID), with integrated communication device and price recorder
    – One hundred (100) TSEK meters, up to DN32/ / >=R160 (MID), with external communication device and data logger
    – Ten (10) TSEK meters, up to DN50/ / >=R160 (MID), with external communication device and data logger
    – Wireless network system consisting of gateways, antennas, masts, etc. for the wireless transmission of water meter data to the Central Control Station
    – Software for receiving, recording and processing data from the metering equipment of the CEMS including the Application Server that will receive the information and the Network server for managing the communication between the gateway units and the metering equipment
    – The Development and Configuration of the above Application and Commissioning of the System
  2. One (1) local pressure regulation station (LPRS)
  3. Two (2) local pressure measuring stations (LMP)
  4. Two (2) residual chlorine measurement stations coded as Local Residual Chlorine Station (LRLS)
  5. (1) Portable equipment for latent leak detection needs including portable noise loggers, portable leak detection device, portable electronic acoustic leak detector (Gaiophone), portable listening rod, portable service line acoustic leak detection system, portable flow meter and ferromagnetic object detection device
  6. One (1) Central Control System (CCS) aimed at collecting all data from local facilities and processing them in a comprehensive manner for the purpose of direct and global presentation of water balances, system management under water scarcity, data analysis for reservoir management, strategy formulation, demand forecasting assessment, decision support and water resources operating rules.

It is also foreseen the procurement of a Portable Control and Planning Station (PC), with a laptop computer, which will enclose all the facilities and subsystems, with the aim of operating the facilities and a second supervision parallel to that of the CSC.

Accordingly, for Subproject 2: COMMUNICATION PLAN ” ELECTRONIC SYSTEM INSTALLATION LOCATION AND CONTROL OF LEAKAGES IN THE INTERNAL NETWORKS OF DEYAVA – PHASE A” the deliverables are:

  1. Creation of the website of the project “ELECTRONIC SYSTEM INSTALLATION LOCATION AND CONTROL OF LEAKAGES IN THE INTERNAL NETWORKS OF DEYAVA – PHASE A”
  2. Conducting a workshop/seminar and installing a temporary signage
  3. Conduct of Closing Meeting – Press Conference and installation of permanent sign
  4. Participation in a conference or workshop on water balance management, network management, network loss reduction and non-tariffed water management or and information workshops of the NSRF Staff Structure of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Sector.
  5. Participation in a briefing or workshop in Norway on water management and exchange of know-how with donor countries.
